Scotscraig is the 13th oldest golf club in the world and is ideally situated in the heartland of Golf close to both the “Old Course” in St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links.
Although the course doesn’t sit exactly adjacent to the coastline, there are a few sea breezes to consider when playing this links, heathland mixture. The course is a test of accuracy rather than length, rewarding golfers who play each shot with the next one in mind.
The 120-year-old clubhouse is also a fine resting place after an enthralling round. With its immaculately-presented greens and rolling fairways, Scotscraig is an impressive layout that is worthy of more attention.
